A Gamepad is a form of game controller that is held in two hands where input is given by the fingers.
A joystick, on the other hand, is an input device made out of a stick that pivots on a base and sends its angle or direction to the device it controls.
In essence, both of them serve as input for video game consoles. Joysticks, on the other hand, can also be used to control devices like cranes, lorries, underwater unmanned vehicles, wheelchairs, security cameras, and other things.
